My modeling-tools are MED, Milkshape, Fragmotion and Ultimate-Unwrap3D for unwraping and converting. For the texturing I use Gimp.


All plant/tree-models contain a 32 bit TGA-texture with alpha chanel. For some file formats there is also a PNG-texture with transparency included (texture sizes = 512x512 or 256x512). Other objects contain a 24 bit bitmap-texture (size 512x512 or 256x512). Skycubes contain a 32 bit TGA-texture (size 512x3072).

My modeling technique focuses on doing a good texturing job and finding the ideal vertices placement, keeping the polycount really low!
